Add a music bed to a short-form video

No music, a random track, a file you upload, or a prompt. How the free short-form render handles a music bed.

Updated 2026-10-07

The bed sits under the voice

Music volume is separate from the voice volume. Keep the bed low enough that the spoken line stays clear. No music is a real option. Random track picks from what the generator already has. Upload a track when you have rights to a file you want.

A music prompt, such as a soft piano with no vocals, is there when you want the generator to choose a mood instead of a file. Preview the voice first if you are unsure the words will cut through.

Music does not replace the caption

A bed does not tell YouTube, TikTok, or Reels what the short is about. The script, the burned captions, and the per-platform post text still do that work. Add music after the words are right, not instead of them.
