Where a short can publish: Shorts, TikTok, Reels, and more

The eight short-form columns in the free workspace, which length each one allows, and which connection is live first.

Updated 2026-10-07

Eight columns, one master

The workspace lists YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat Spotlight, and X. Each has its own title, caption, and tags, and its own length cap. A file that is too long turns that column off.

YouTube Shorts is the first live publisher, once Google keys are set. Until then, Connect runs a demo so you can practice the cross-post for free. The other networks stay on the same demo path until their own keys exist. The columns are not hidden.

Length, then words

Shorts, Pinterest, and Spotlight are treated as 60 seconds. Reels on Instagram and Facebook are 90. TikTok is 3 minutes. X sits between them. LinkedIn is the long one. Cross-post the networks that fit the file you actually exported.

Grid shows every column. Focus opens one network larger when you want to rewrite a single caption. Both are free.

Cross-post the short for free

One 9:16 file, a caption for each network, and a schedule if you want it later. Creating, editing, and the publish workspace are free.
